1. To set up direct manager as approver when creating a new request group, you select Yes at the Require for approval from direct manager.

2. In case you need to add direct manager as aprrover for an existing request group, follow these steps:
Step 1: You access https://request.base.vn.
Go to the Settings page >> All request groups >> Select the request  group that needs to add direct manager as approverStep 2: In the General Setting section, click Add >> Add direct manager:

- Only allow selecting direct managers set in the Base Account: 

+ If you choose Yes: The request creator can only tag people in the list of direct managers set in the Base Account, and cannot select others.
+ If you choose No: want the proposal creator to be able to choose any direct manager
Note:
- If you select Yes in this setting but have not set up a direct manager on the Base Account, when the staff creates a proposal, they will not be able to tag a direct manager and will not be able to create a proposal (Instructions for setting up a direct manager on the Base Account).

Step 3: After successful setup, the request form will have a field for the staff to tag the @username of the direct manager.
