There are three options for approvers to handle a request:

• Approve: accept this request.

• Reject: deny this request.

• Forward: when an approver needs to forward a request out for someone who isn't in the approval list. 

• Approve and Forward means forwarder has approved this request and forwarded it to someone else. 

• Forward means the receiver of this forward will have to approve first before the forwarder.
