Request - Transfer request approval rights to another approver in

This feature allows the approver to transfer their review rights to another approver when it's their turn to review.
Note:
- Only applicable to Flexible Approvers and Approvers who are forwarded to approve requests
- Cannot transfer to an approver who is currently in the approval workflow.
- Only applicable to requests created after the time of setting the permission to transfer approval rights. Not applicable to requests created in the past.

I. Set up the Transfer Approval feature in a request group:
Step 1: Access https://request.base.vn >> select Customize (gear icon) and click on the request group that needs editing.

Step 2: Go to the Permission settings tab >> select Yes at Allow approver to transfer role to others

II. Action to transfer approval role:
1. For the flexible approver:
a. If in the settings, select No at Only allow selecting a flexible approver from the setup list => The person in turn of approval can transfer the approval authority to anyone.

At this point, the approver clicks the backward arrow at the top right corner of the screen to request and selects Transfer role to other approvers > Select the person to transfer the approval rights to.

After transferring the approval rights, the person to whom the rights are transferred can approve the request normally.

b. If in the settings, select YES at Only allow selecting a flexible approver from the setup list => The person in turn of approval can transfer the approval authority to one of the flexible approvers listed in the previously established list.

Guide to transferring approval rights: Select the backward arrow at the top right corner of the request screen and choose Transfer role to other approvers

Select the approver from the established list.

=> After transferring the approval authority, the person to whom the authority is transferred can approve the request  as usual. After the approval rights are transferred, the person to whom the approval rights are transferred can approve requests normally.

2. For the Approver who is Forwarded for approval from another Approver

The approver who has been delegated approval from someone else can transfer the approval authority to anyone.

* Distinguish between Forwarding Approval and Delegating Approval

- Forward approval: The approver forwards to add one or more new approvers to the approval flow. After forwarding, the approver still retains the role to approve.

- Transfer of approval role: The approver transfers their approval rights to another approver => replacement of approval role.

The approver performs the approval forwarding action as below:

After the approver forwards the approval to the new approver, The forwarded approver will be added to the approval flow => at that point, the approver at this stage can delegate the approval authority to anyone else.

=> After transferring the approval rights, the person to whom the rights are transferred can approve requests normally.

*Note:

- Each approver can only transfer their authority to one other person.

- After transferring the approval role, the old approver will be removed from the request and replaced by the new approver, and will not have the right to view it if they are not on the request's follower list.

- Approval rights can be transferred from the first approver in the approval flow if the block of approvers meets the conditions.

- The SLA of the new approver will be calculated based on the same number of SLA hours as the old approver and will start from the moment the transfer is successful.
