In many businesses, there will be cases where a candidate applies multiple times for the same job position, or for many different job positions. With Base E-Hiring, each time a candidate applies, it will create 1 candidate in the job posting. 

-> Then you will need a tool to quickly check for duplicate email/phone number profiles, to avoid processing duplicate profiles, or candidates receiving multiple offers for different positions at the same time.

1. Check duplicate profiles in a job posting

a. Filter duplicate profiles on the Candidate List page.

In the candidate list screen in a job posting, you can filter to display profiles with duplicate email/phone number by using the " Yes " filter in the " Duplicate Profile " column. 

As shown:

b. Check in detail 1 candidate.

On the candidate detail screen, for candidates with duplicate profiles, the system will have a warning in the right corner of the screen:

2. Check for duplicate profiles in multiple job postings

If there are multiple profiles in multiple job postings with duplicate email/phone information, the system will display a warning in the right corner of the candidate detail screen, as follows:

Note: Duplicate profiles in different job postings cannot be merged.
