Base Hiring: Guide to integrating Hiring and TopCV in

After integrating TopCV and Base Hiring, you can post jobs directly from Base E-Hiring to TopCV and receive CVs quickly and accurately from TopCV into the posted job without having to do any additional steps.

2. Implementation process 

Part 1 : Instructions for setting up configuration on Hiring

After clicking Add access code, the Enter access code form appears, you need to fill in the Employer API Key and Secret Key in the 2 corresponding blank boxes. 

Step 2: Get  Employer API Key and Secret Key

Go to your employer account on TopCV page >  Select Account Settings  > Select  API Connection  >  Copy  Access Token  and Secret Key to paste into the Enter access code section on Hiring.

Note : - Access Token (TopCV) = Employer API Key (Base E-Hiring)

             - Secret Key (TopCV) = Secret Key (Base E-Hiring)

After pasting the Access Token and Secret Key into Base E-Hiring, click Save to save the information.

At this time, the status of the TopCV recruitment page changes to Configured, and an Update button appears for you to update information.

Step 3 :  On TopCV, to connect to API, you need to add Webhook URL.

To get this Webhook URL, go back to the Recruitment Network Access Code Setup screen > select Update >  Update Access Code .

The Update Access Code form appears as below, you copy the API Endpoint and paste it into the Webhook URL field on TopCV.

Then click Update to complete the configuration.

Note :  When disconnecting Base E-Hiring and TopCV, select Disconnect and the status of TopCV on Base E-Hiring returns to the original Not configured.

Part 2: Instructions for pushing CV from TOPCV to Hiring

In a job posting, select Create source > Select  Recruitment network  > Select  Post new job posting  on TopCV recruitment network.

Note :  Some information in the job posting form is automatically taken from the job posting created in Base E-Hiring. You need to fill in some missing information to post the job posting on TopCV.

After the job posting is successful, a log will automatically appear in the List of posted jobs. Here, you can update the job posting information if there are any changes (no need to go to the TopCV page to update).

For job postings already created on topCV, select Add posted job to link to the job posting on Hiring.

Notification of approved and successfully posted job postings on TopCV is sent to the notification section in E-Hiring as follows:

Or when the job posting is rejected

When a candidate applies on TopCV, a notification will be sent to E-Hiring and at the same time, the candidate will be automatically created at the first stage of the recruitment process.

In case you do not create a TopCV source in the job posting on Hiring, when candidate CVs from TopCV are returned, Hiring will still check according to the job posting title: 

+ If a job posting with a matching title is found on Hiring >> the CV will automatically be transferred to that posting.

+ If no matching news can be found >> the candidate will return to the Pending pool.

Part 3: Notes when linking Hiring and TopCv

You already have an employer account on TopCV, please contact TopCV directly to sign a contract and pay to use the TopCV portal opening service.

Then TopCV will open the connection for you to link to Hiring.
