Base E-Hiring: How to integrate Hiring with Vietnamwork in

From August 24, 2023, with the change in regulations under Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP, attaching CV via email will no longer be possible. Instead, API integration will become an important part of collecting CV information from VietnamWorks.

This document will provide specific instructions on how to set up and use the API to access and retrieve CV information from VietnamWorks in an efficient and secure manner. It will include technical steps, authentication requirements, and specific examples of how to use the API to integrate data from VietnamWorks into the Base E-Hiring system.

You accesshttps://hiring.base.vn/  or the Base E-Hiring icon on the app menu bar, then to configure the VietnamWorks recruitment network on Base E-Hiring, you perform the following steps:

Step 1:  Select Other options in the Customize section → Select  Set up recruitment network access code  on the right side of the screen → Find the recruitment network name VietnamWorks and click  Connect to VNW . 

Step 2:  After clicking Add access code , it will jump to the VietnamWorks login page. Users must log in to their recruitment email.

After filling in  Email and Password , click Sign in to log in. After logging in, there will be a message “ The application "BaseVN" would like to connect to your account . Please click Allow to allow Base to access ”.

After successful connection, there will be a notification, “ Successfully connected to Vietnamworks. Candidate CV will be automatically updated to Base Ehiring when there is an application email.”. After connecting, you can return to Base E-Hiring to use

Note:  When the user wants to stop connecting Base E-Hiring and VietnamWorks  , select Disconnect and the status of VietnamWorks on Base E-Hiring returns to the original Not configured.

Additional notes on Decree 13: 

According to the provisions of Decree 13 on personal data protection, VietnamWorks will not send candidate information - effective from November 15, 2023 for API partners. Employers need to upload " Privacy Policy " for each job posting (Specific content on the privacy policy can be reported to VietnamWorks for support) specifically:

- Check if the job posting has information about " Confidentiality Regulations " or not?

- If not, select “ Create new document ” and upload the privacy policy. Click “ Save and Continue ” to save this Policy for the job posting.

*  You already have an employer account on VietnamWorks , please contact VietnamWorks directly to sign a contract and pay to use the VietnamWorks portal opening service .  Then VietnamWorks  will open the connection for you to link with Hiring.
