Base HRM - Career Development: Salary Increase Procedure for Employees in

First, you access HRM by selecting the Base HRM icon in the application list, or go to the link https://hrm.base.vn/ 

To increase employee salary, follow these steps:

  • Step 1: On the Home page, go to Career  Development  >> select Career > Add personnel decision

If your company has not created a salary increase policy on Base HRM, you can refer to the instructions.HERE to create a policy, then proceed.

Case 1: If only 1 member's salary is increased

Tag @username member to increase salary & select policy in Salary Increase section

 Then fill in all the corresponding personnel information (information marked with * is required information)

 - If you just need to update employee salary, in the "Status" box, select "Complete". 

 - If you propose a new salary and need approval, select "Need approval".

- PIC: The person responsible for the salary increase decision.

- Proposed by: Person proposing salary increase for staff.

- Person consulted:  Person who has the right to give comments and suggestions for salary increase decisions.

 PIC: Direct management of personnel

- Select "Process sample file" to support processing printing information according to the attached sample file of the policy.

- Check "I confirm that the employee is eligible for the career policy" to confirm that the employee is applied according to the transfer policy.


  • Case 2: If salary is increased at the same time for many members 

You select Enter decision to accept the job

Here you can choose 1 of 3 import options:

 Enter current and future approved personnel decisions: select this item to enter approved salary increase decisions that are currently in effect or will be effective in the future

 Enter pending personnel decisions: select this item to enter pending salary increase decisions 

Enter past decisions (except for decisions currently applied) : select this item to enter past salary increase decisions, not the decisions currently applied to that employee.

You can select 1 salary increase policy in the " Human resource policy" section to enter salary increase decisions belonging to the same policy. If you do not select, you can enter salary increase decisions belonging to different policies.

Click Download  to download the sample file and fill in the information in this sample file.

Define: 

PIC: The person responsible for the salary increase decision.

Proposed by: Person proposing salary increase for staff.

Person consulted:  Person who has the right to give comments and suggestions on salary increase decisions.

Check and require the personnel code to be correct : check this box to have the system check the personnel code to assign the corresponding decision.

Notify employees: check the box to have the system send a notification to employees about the salary increase decision being applied.

Register new tax/insurance policy : Check this box if you need to register tax/insurance policy for employees. When checking here, the file must fill in the columns [Tax] Tax policy, [Tax] Join date, [Insurance] Insurance policy, [Insurance] Join date. If not checked, there is no need to fill in these columns.

Process template files: check this box if you want to create files according to the set template


Tip:  To work faster, instead of entering information in the columns “Employee Code”, “Employee Name”, “Position”, “Office” & “Specialized Area” 

In “ Personnel List ”, hover over “ Create New ” >> select “ Custom Extract ” & select “ Extract Full Information ” >> then, copy & paste into the corresponding columns in the previously downloaded salary increase decision entry form file.
