Custom fields help update payroll details to match your company’s payroll structure. To add a custom field in HRM, go to https://hrm.base.vn/ or select Base HRM from the app menu and follow the steps below:

- Step 1: Go to Settings => Payroll => Select Edit Custom Fields

- Step 2: Click Add New Field

- Step 3: Fill in the field details and click Save

  • Field Name: The name of the data field

  • Data Type: Currently supports decimal number format

  • Group: Fields can be grouped for easier calculations. Available groups include:

    • Employee Information

    • Income

    • Benefits

    • Employee Taxes

    • Employee Insurance

    • Other Deductions

    • Company Insurance Costs

    • Company Costs (excluding income)

  • Short Description: Add a description for the field, if needed

*Note: Each custom field, once created, will generate a key based on its name. When syncing payroll data from Payroll to HRM, the custom field keys in HRM must match the data field IDs in Payroll.

*Example:

- In Payroll: (Field with ID: take_home)

- In HRM: (Create a custom field with key: take_home)
